Endowed with quite limited means and unlimited aspirations Mount Carmel School, Una, embarked upon her stupendous strides to etch an indelible character on the horizons of success under the able guidance of Rev. Fr. Aurelian, the founder Principal of our school. On the Second of July, 1982, as the undaunted spirit of determination and the uncompromising dedication of the Carmelite Fathers and the S.C.J.M. Sisters got amalgamated with the magnanimity of our well wishers, Mount Carmel School got implanted at the rented premises of Shri Baba Sarabhjit Singh Bedi.

Replanted in the salubrious and tranquil premises of Rakkar Colony on 20 December 1984, Mount Carmel School, Una, inaugurated a new era of quality education strewing our district with sparkling stars of educational excellence endowed with enlightened minds, enhanced visions and precious values perfectly fitting for the new millennium.
